This site is operated by Roland Farkas in the United Kingdom. For anything relating to your data, email hello@rolandfarkas.com.

Analytics

With your consent, I use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used. Clarity records how pages are used, such as clicks and scrolling, so I can see what works.

Until you choose, and if you decline, no analytics or marketing cookies are set and Clarity does not run. Google Tag Manager still loads, and Google Analytics may send basic cookieless measurements (Google Consent Mode) without storing anything on your device.

Cookies and consent

A first-party cookie remembers your consent choice for six months. You can change it any time using the Cookies link in the footer.

Each choice is also logged with a random ID kept in your browser, so it can be honoured and evidenced. That log is held by my own consent service at consent.rolandfarkas.com. If you switch between light and dark mode, that setting is saved in your browser only.

Contact form and chat

If you use the contact form, your name, email, phone number and message go to subba, the service I use to manage enquiries, and on to my inbox. The chat assistant on this site is also run by subba: its replies are generated automatically, and anything you type into it, including contact details you choose to share, is handled the same way as the form.

I use these details only to reply and to carry out any work we agree, keep them only as long as that needs, and do not sell your data. The same applies if you email me directly. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or taking steps towards a contract when you ask for a quote; analytics rely on your consent.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver and protect it. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies. Google, Microsoft and Cloudflare may process data outside the UK, under their standard data protection terms.

Your rights

You can ask what data I hold, request a correction, or ask for deletion. Email hello@rolandfarkas.com and I will respond. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

This policy may be updated from time to time. The version that applies is the one published here.
